About The Role
The Project Manager is essential for the successful completion of projects. The candidate will plan project scope, staffing, and timelines, identify risks, and develop backup plans. This role requires collaboration with management, business analysts, and technical leads. The Project Manager will work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, following industry and project management standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse projects and prepare a project plan.
- Prepare various project documents like BRD, SRS, Project Charter, Project Schedule, Project Budget, RACI Matrix, Risk & Issue Log, and more as required.
- Actively communicate with stakeholders.
- Preparing project proposals – Technical & Commercial.
- Prepare presentation slides
- Manage & monitor development projects using Agile Methodology.
- Outlining a budget based on requirements and tracking costs to deliver projects on budget.
- Performing risk analysis to minimise project risks.
- Assigning and overseeing the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones according to the developed plan.
- Conducting scrum meetings, tracking projects, and providing regular reports on project status to the project team and key stakeholders.
- Identifying and resolving project issues.
- Monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Coordinating change requests.
- Manage and adjust project scope, schedule, and budget changes.
- Reporting and escalating to management as needed.
- Lead team in meeting client expectations and project deliverables.
- Conducting post-project evaluation.
- Deliver ad hoc deliverables requested by the team lead.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Must have a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering or a related field. An MBA will be advantageous.
- Must have a minimum of 2 year of experience working with software companies.
- Must have a solid understanding of the SDLC model, Agile Methodology, and traditional project management principles and practices, and the ability to blend them in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to head off obstacles proactively.
- Ability to provide leadership to business analysts, collaborate with customers, and develop strategies and solutions of high business value.
- Must have experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and a teamwork mentality
- Must have excellent time management and organisational skills, and experience establishing guidelines in these areas for others
- Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, tools, and methods
- Must have excellent computer and organisational skills, as well as attention to detail
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Bangla
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience in presenting technical information in a live setting, such as presentations or video conference
● Salary - BDT 20,000 to 30,000 (Based on skills & experience)
