Isteaq Mahmud

Isteaq Mahmud is the operational backbone for finance and HR, responsible for maintaining robust financial records, statutory compliance, and a secure, productive workplace. His remit includes daily accounting (AP/AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations), timely payroll processing and statutory contributions, VAT and tax filings, budget preparation and cash-flow forecasting, and liaison with external auditors and tax advisors to minimise compliance risk.

He drives procurement and cost-optimization efforts, enforces asset tagging and lifecycle management for company hardware and licenses, and ensures timely renewal of permits and licenses to avoid regulatory disruptions. On the people side, Isteaq supports full recruitment cycles, onboarding/offboarding, maintenance of personnel records, HR policy implementation aligned with Bangladeshi labour law, and first-line employee relations. He also manages facilities, vendor contracts, and event logistics, and implements office safety protocols to protect staff and assets.

With prior leadership experience as Zonal In-charge at KUDOS and an MS in Mathematics, Isteaq combines analytical rigor, governance discipline, and stakeholder management to drive operational excellence and enable the company’s strategic objectives.
